A cute and cheerful home in the town of Aegina, outside of the traffic and buzz but still only a 5 minute walk away from the port, down town market and 2 beaches!
The space
The house is part of a duplex at ground level, located up on a little hill and surrounded by pistachio trees, with views of the fields, the sea and a beautiful renovated windmill next door. It comprises of one double bedroom, one single bedroom, a living room, a kitchen and a bathroom.
- Summer living:
For the hot Summer days and nights, there are air conditioning units in the double bedroom and in the kitchen, which cover the entire house and will make sure to keep you cool. :-)
- Winter holiday:
The island is very beautiful also during the winter and the house is well equipped to host your winter getaway. Heating panels will keep you warm when you want to relax in the house and load your batteries to explore the outdoors. I promise that you will find the quieter island living very refreshing!

Living on the island, I have accumulated some knowledge and would be happy to share with you the "tips of a local"!
I will also be available throughout your stay, to help with anything you may need, from just information on where to eat, to helping you organize excursions and boat trips, to supporting you with any kind of problem or emergency you may face.
The neighborhood
The house is in a no-traffic little street, just off the road leading to the town center, with friendly neighbors and pistachio tree views!
Getting around
You can get to the town stores and grocery / fish / meat markets on foot.
The taxi and bus stations are also at walking distance from the house, so for further exploration of the island you will not necessarily need to have your own means of transportation. If you feel like being more independent and flexible, I can help you rent a car or a scooter, which you will be able to just park on the street near the house.

Wonderful stay
It is a really cute, cozy, super clean, fully equipped apartment in the town of Aegina within a 5 min walking distance from the town promenade. Fully renovated, beautifully designed, it looked better than the pictures we had seen when we booked it. We stayed there for 5 days, 23-28 Sept and we really enjoyed it. Christina, the host, is kind and well-mannered , full of positive energy. She was very helpful and present when needed but at the same time really discreet. She gave us lots of information about the island and the places we should visit. We knew that Aegina is a nice place to visit but it feels really good to have a place like “Aegina Town Home” to stay.
Recommended getaway!
The apartment sits on a quiet side street in town and is very walkable to the archaeological museum and the waterfront promenade. It is equipped with many accessories and conveniences, including dishwasher, washer/dryer, Nespresso machine and coffee maker. It has two portable space heaters and 2 A/C units, electric blankets and very fast WiFi and satellite TV. From the kitchen and the patio you can catch a view of the sea in the distance. It is very clean and renovated. The owner, Christina, is very friendly, responsive, organized and accommodating. We highly recommend it for a quick getaway from Athens!
About host
Christina was born and raised in Greece, with an international education and flair! Made a career in Banking before moving to Haiti, Congo and Central African Republic to do humanitarian work with an international NGO. Returned to Greece in 2013, aiming to start a small business with carefully chosen, beautiful vacation rentals and customized, exceptional service!
